Waterloo passes property tax abatements for new construction homes
Posted by Carl Ericson on Tuesday, August 23rd, 2011 at 1:52pm.The Waterloo City Council has adopted a City Limits Urban Revitalization Area. The CLURA gives three years of complete property tax abatements for building a new house in Waterloo. The CLURA will expire in 3 years unless the city chooses to extend it. The city is planning on sending more details to builders and real estate agents so as soon as I get more specific details when I receive them.
